In the midst of a major rebranding campaign I helped execute in 2011, a top-tier executive said to me, “The way the logo looks isn’t going to make someone buy this service.” He was wrong.
It is human nature to judge a book by its cover – to make a lasting opinion within seconds of your first impression. A customer or guest experience starts with a business card, a logo, a website, a brochure.
The same is true in the event world. A wedding invitation sets the tone for your entire event. A thoughtless invitation = jeans at the wedding. While most people don’t have a trained aesthetic, they can tell the difference between good and amazing when comparing the two. Any event, milestone or correspondence deserves a professional touch.
